1 - Structuring Hierarchies

The mind subconsciously breaks down complex problems into components. The AHP structures the components into a hierarchical representation to form a complete picture of the problem.

2. Establishing Priorities

The mind establishes the relationships of the individual components relative to each other by determining which is more important (order) and how much more important (intensity).

3. Logical Consistency

The mind has the ability to determine if these relationships are coherent and if they connect logically.

Let us first look at Structuring Hierarchies.
